Overview
MMD Equipment supplies industrial fans in Cyprus: HVLS ceiling fans, portable cooling fans, axial ventilation fans and the controllers that run them, for warehouses, workshops, farms and commercial spaces across the island.
These are large, technical products sold by quote, not added to a cart. We built a catalogue that explains each fan clearly, with its size range, application and datasheet, and puts a quote request one click away on every page. The design is bold yellow on dark, to match the industrial character of the products.
Behind the site is a custom CRM where the team manages products, categories, applications, brands, product PDFs and incoming enquiries. The old WordPress and WooCommerce setup was retired completely, and the site moved to its own domain, mmdequipment.cy.
Challenge & Solution
A WooCommerce shop built for a checkout, for products that are sold by quote
A quote request on every product and a clear path to "Get a quote" from every page
Product datasheets with no proper place on the site
Datasheets uploaded in the CRM and downloadable from each product
Every catalogue change going through a heavy WordPress admin
A custom CRM for products, categories, applications, brands and enquiries
A generic look that did not match industrial equipment

What does MMD Equipment sell?
Industrial fans for large spaces in Cyprus: HVLS ceiling fans, portable cooling fans, axial ventilation fans, and the controllers and gateways that run them.
Why quotes instead of a checkout?
Industrial fans are sized to the space they cool, so the team recommends the right model and quantity before a sale. Every product has a quote request, and the team replies within one working day.
Can the team update products without a developer?
Yes. Products, categories, applications, brands, prices and datasheets are all edited in the CRM and show on the site straight away.
Where do the product datasheets come from?
They are uploaded as PDFs in the CRM, attached to each product and offered for download on the product page.
What happened to WordPress?
It was retired. The catalogue was moved into the custom CRM, and WordPress and WooCommerce were removed completely.
Where is the site hosted?
On our own server, with the site and the CRM in separate containers, HTTPS on mmdequipment.cy and DNS at Cloudflare.
